Sir Matty V’s Debut Mixtape Is Dynamite!

Sir Matty V just dropped a mixtape bomb on our ass. I present to you the 11-track mashup mixtape “Honorable Mention”. Matt lays down mashups with rap, rock, beats, electro and showcases his talents well on his debut effort. I’m actually going to compare his sound on this mixtape to the popular mashup DJ Girl Talk and at times White Panda. He does an awesome job of taking a massive sample size of popular songs and spinning them together to create ultimate anthems that everyone can get into. Instant party….
Below I chose some of my favorites. First up we have Matty mashing up some Blink 182 Jay-Z and Lil Wayne…Say What?????? YUP! Dirt Off My Age. I love he plays Blink the whole track with Jay and Wayne’s Verses over the rock music. Rap verses with rock music is a phenomenal combination. White Panda-esque. 2nd track below may be the sickest one on the mixtape called Stereo Replay. Throws in a little dubstep between an all-star lineup starring B.O.B and 4 others! Last up I chose a great dance/club song Bayside 122. This track shows some really tight production work.
