Christian Strobe has so graciously provided us with a free album download. It’s a bunch of songs he previously remixed in 2011. We posted one of the tracks earlier in the year: M83 – Midnight City (Christian Strobe Remix) as it was a killer remix and I think it’s the best in this collection. He rocks rocks the nu-disco genre and the tracks generally have chill vibes. Check out the track listing below and download the whole album for free at Zippy Share or MediaFire.

Do You Remember?

…the very first weekend of September! Happy Labor Day Weekend to all!! As much as I love the month of August, (my birthday/Summer/beach/fun), I think September has its moments too. The return of football is numero uno in my book. But there is another new favorite as to why I like this month. DubAtomic Music!!! Music has recently branched off into so many different genres with the help of new sounds and instruments being incorporated. Synthesizers have really caught my eardrums. There is just somthing about a really good synth along with an upbeat tempo that gives me goosebumps. These three songs below are some of my favorite of their respective genres.
The first track is by an artist who goes by the name of Neon Indian. When he creating music, he is creating different genres. If you like what you hear, Neon Indian is about 10 days from releasing their second album entitled “Era Extrana.” The second track is called “The Worse It Gets” by Penguin Prison. Check out the chorus around 54 seconds in; it will be in your head for a good while. This is the only song that I have heard from him that is good so don’t expect much more from the arctic birds in jail. The last track is from Miami Horror called Holidays. Now this artist creates an upbeat funky disco sort of sound. All the better to get up and start dancing! Check out all of these songs and let us know what you think.
