I don’t know if you’ve heard the song ‘Sail’ by Awolnation yet. Its been out for awhile now and Awolnation is actually a one man band. Aaron Bruno, former band member of Under the Influence of Giants, writes all the songs himself and is definitely worth a listen. As for the remixes….We have two. I can’t decide which one I like more. I really can’t. Under the remixes is the actual non-remixed song “Sail”. You might even like the original the best. All available for download through the soundcloud player. Music changes all the time. It goes through waves and phases. I like to consider the 60s and 70s as being the puberty of music, and the 80s and 90s the awkward adolescence. Nowadays, music is in a whole new place yet again. Internet Killed the Video Star by the Limousines is not only an example of this, but it’s what the song is about. The internet has shaped the new age of music. This song is about how dance music is all the rage now, but Rock n Roll will surface again (I got my fingers crossed).

The kids are disco dancing, they’re tired of rock n roll, don’t bother telling them that drum machine don’t got no soul….
